DeWalt DCS575 60V MAX FLEXVOLT Brushless 190mm Circular Saw

What Battery Does the DeWalt DCS575 Use?

The DeWalt DCS575 is a FLEXVOLT tool that requires a DeWalt FLEXVOLT battery to operate. Standard 20V MAX batteries will not power this tool. FLEXVOLT batteries automatically switch to 60V when inserted into FLEXVOLT tools, delivering corded-power performance without the cord.

About the DeWalt DCS575

The DeWalt DCS575 is a 60V MAX FLEXVOLT brushless 190mm circular saw delivering 5,800 RPM. It features an electronic brake, a 57mm bevel capacity at 90 degrees, and a high-strength magnesium shoe. The FLEXVOLT motor delivers power comparable to corded circular saws, making it a true replacement for mains-powered cutting on site.

Compatible Batteries for the DeWalt DCS575

Only DeWalt FLEXVOLT batteries are compatible with the DCS575. Standard 20V MAX batteries will not fit or power this tool.

Recommended Battery

DCB609 or DCB612 — Circular saws at 60V draw significant current. The 9.0Ah or 12.0Ah FLEXVOLT batteries provide the runtime needed for sustained cutting work on site.

Minimum Battery

DCB606 — The 6.0Ah FLEXVOLT will power the saw, but at 60V it delivers only 2.0Ah effective capacity, so expect limited cuts per charge.

Battery Compatibility Notes

Important: This is a FLEXVOLT tool. Standard DeWalt 20V MAX batteries are NOT compatible. Only FLEXVOLT batteries (identifiable by their larger size and green/grey colouring) will work.

FLEXVOLT batteries are dual-voltage: they run at 60V in FLEXVOLT tools and automatically switch to 20V when used in standard 20V MAX tools. The Ah capacity halves at 60V (a 6.0Ah battery becomes 2.0Ah at 60V).
