What Battery Does the DeWalt DCS7485 Use?
The DeWalt DCS7485 is a FLEXVOLT tool that requires a DeWalt FLEXVOLT battery to operate. Standard 20V MAX batteries will not power this table saw. FLEXVOLT batteries automatically switch to 60V when inserted, delivering corded-tool performance.

| Battery Model | Capacity (at 60V) | Weight | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| DCB606 | 6.0Ah (2.0Ah at 60V) | 0.77kg | Compatible |
| DCB609 | 9.0Ah (3.0Ah at 60V) | 1.04kg | Compatible |
| DCB612 | 12.0Ah (4.0Ah at 60V) | 1.39kg | Recommended |
Recommended Battery
DCB612 — Table saws are among the most demanding cordless tools. The 12.0Ah FLEXVOLT (4.0Ah at 60V) is strongly recommended for any meaningful ripping or crosscutting work.
Minimum Battery
DCB609 — The 9.0Ah FLEXVOLT (3.0Ah at 60V) will run the table saw for lighter work, but expect to swap batteries more frequently during extended cutting sessions.
Battery Compatibility Notes
Important: This is a FLEXVOLT tool. Standard DeWalt 20V MAX batteries are NOT compatible. Only FLEXVOLT batteries will work.
FLEXVOLT batteries are dual-voltage: they run at 60V in FLEXVOLT tools and automatically switch to 20V in standard 20V MAX tools. The Ah capacity is reduced at 60V (a 12.0Ah battery becomes 4.0Ah at 60V).
