Does the DCB118 Charge FLEXVOLT Batteries Faster?
Yes — and this is the key difference versus the DCB115. The DCB118 outputs full 60V charging current to FLEXVOLT packs, whereas the DCB115 can only charge them at the 20V MAX rate. In practice, the DCB118 charges a DCB606 FLEXVOLT battery in approximately 60 minutes versus approximately 90 minutes with the DCB115. For tradespeople running FLEXVOLT tools hard, this difference is significant.
What the DCB118 Will NOT Charge
